Grading Process
Grading Process
Gradings take place normally once every six months, with a day-training course between each grading. Please check the Blog for further information. The day will consist of warm-up and exercises, dojo drill, and specific practice and application of different form such as Ohyo, Kihon and Kata.

Towards the end of the day, students taking a grade will perform their syllabus in front of the grading Instructors and will be awarded with: a pass, a pass subject to improvement, or a fail. The student's karate licence and record of training will be stamped and signed by the Sensei to show the grade or course taken.
